Rebecca Luker (April 17, 1961–December 23, 2020) was an actress who played three different characters in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Luker originated the role of Winifred Banks in the musical Mary Poppins (with Gavin Lee).
She was married to Danny Burstein, who guest-starred in all four primary shows of the Law & Order franchise. They appeared together as a married couple in the SVU episode "Transgender Bridge".
In February 2020, Luker announced that she had been suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis since late 2019. Two months later, Burstein announced that Luker was showing symptoms of COVID-19. Luker eventually died in a hospital on December 23, 2020.
