Red Washington is an X-ray technician and a family friend of the Greens, who were destroyed when teenage daughter Aretha disappeared. She was murdered and at the bottom of Harlem Meer until 2022. The Greens mentioned Red as a "boyfriend" of Aretha and that he moved.
He worked at Nassau North Medical Center by the time he was questioned, and he revealed Aretha had no boyfriend. he gave his DNA, but it was no match to the fetus she was carrying when she died. Her adoptive grandfather Coleman, later arrested and confessing in full, was the real rapist and murderer of Aretha, having separated and isolated the family for years to cover for himself.
