Plot[]
A shoot-out between a motorist and the police leads to the discovery of a gruesome Russian-mob killing and a traumatized boy who witnessed the murder. Curtis is devastated when he learns his estranged wife Deborah is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Background information and notes[]
- The episode was later adapted into the Law & Order: UK episode "Flaw".
- Dr. Elizabeth Olivet (Carolyn McCormick) returns for the first time since Season 7 episode "Double Down", who is revealed to have developed a speciality with kids who suffer from crime-related trauma. This is also the first episode to feature both her and the Manhattan District Attorney's Office current expert Dr. Emil Skoda (J.K. Simmons). Future episodes that future both of them are "Killerz" and "Bitch".
