Rick Edwards was a regular boxer at Mick's Gym and a suspect in the assault of Kim Garnet.

Edwards had made unwanted advances towards high school student Kim Garnet, who was taking a boxing class at the gym. After she rebuffed him, he tripped her while she was jumping rope, which led to Kim's coach Daniela suspending him from the gym for seven days.
After Kim was assaulted, Edwards was questioned by Detective Elliot Stabler, which resulted in Edwards taking a swing at Stabler, leading to him being incapacitated with a kick to the groin. Edwards was arrested for assaulting an officer and trespassing.
After Stabler and Odafin Tutuola threatened to lock up Edwards with a large pedophile named Little Pete, Edwards claimed he later attempted to apologize to Kim, but she ignored him. (SVU: "Crush")
