Law and Order

Ricky Morrissey was the accomplice of serial killer and sexual sadist Jay Lippman, who he turned on when police were closing in on them.

History[]

Ricky was the childhood friend of young prodigy Lippman. But Ricky saw the worst of Lippman in his sexual sadism, starting in February 1987 when Lippman drugged Ricky's sister Sally and raped her with a Coke bottle. Lippman made the two swear to never tell, trying to pretend he "didn't" realize what he was doing. Even in spite of what Lippman did to him and his family, Ricky was pressured into helping Lippman abduct a girl named Alyssa Cooney. Lippman raped, tortured, and murdered her, making Ricky bury her body under his mother's house for almost two decades. Ricky would devolve into drug addiction out of guilt, leaving Lippman to be ready to rid of him as a liability.

When Ricky's mother died and the house was sold, he warned Lippman they needed to move Cooney's corpse, which they did, but it was soon found by state police, leading to the assignment of the Major Case Squad. Detectives Goren and Eames first found Ricky to be a suspect, but they then reconsidered since he didn't have the sadism and planning for the murder, even though they knew he still knew about it. Luring Ricky to an abandoned construction site, Lippman started degrading him to make him too depressed to fight back, then openly voiced his intention of killing him as a witness and made him feel bad about himself so he'd let it happen. Lippman took the opportunity them to shove Ricky to his death, Ricky landing on top of a car and appearing to have jumped out of guilt and paranoia.

Lippman was soon after found out and arrested. (CI: "Yesterday")
