Robert Dolan is the father of murdered tween model Sara Dolan.

History[]

Fontana led the case with his partner Salone, and they both suspected Rob of raping and murdering Sara, as he cleaned her when she was found dead, laid her on the floor, and swiftly called his lawyer minutes after he called the police. He took a vacation with his wife Amy to avoid the press, and his wife was remembered as having turned heads and dressed scantily, even as she aged and her looks didn’t fade.

Ten years later, one of the two killers, Dan Flood, confessed to the murder on his deathbed, giving up his accomplice, Johnny Zona. Flood renovated the brownstone and hoped to bring Zona for a robbery, but the duo brutalized Sara when she was in the house because they were both high. Rob refused any and all cooperation, as he feared more persecution and Amy was sick and dying. When Zona was taken to trial around the same time Amy passed away, the case was collapsing, so after some preceding resistance, Rob agreed to look at a photo array and picked Zona out, as he was scouting the Dolans' brownstone before the murder.

Thanks to Rob's testimony, the prosecution narrowly dodged a guilty plea, and Zona was imprisoned for the second-degree murder of Sara. (L&O: "Ghosts")
