Robert Silas is the father of Teddy Silas.
History[]
Robert invites Stabler and Bell to a Silas family event presenting their new casino, The Majestic. Teddy later asks Robert who invited Stabler and Bell and Robert responds that he did, which shocks Teddy. Robert reminds Teddy that they work every political angle they can, including the police. He then tells Teddy that the only reason he is hard on him is because he loves him. (OC: "Everybody Knows The Dice Are Loaded")
With Henry Cole deceased and unable to protect his apartment from being demolished, Teddy orders the apartment be demolished to make way for his casino. Both Robert and Teddy watch Henry's apartment being torn down by machinery from a car, with Robert feeling victorious about Henry's failure to protect his apartment from destruction. Robert ordered a man named Luca Belucci to poison Pearl. After Teddy and Luca's arrest, Robert disappeared and could not be found. Stabler visited Teddy in prison and asked him where Robert was but Teddy refused to give answers. (OC: "Whipping Post")
Robert asked to meet with Stabler and Bell, claiming that he would only cooperate if Teddy was released from prison. Stabler and Bell then met with Robert and called the ADA to make a deal with Robert. Robert revealed to Stabler that he had a brain tumour and should have been dead a year ago. ADA Polson, a trained hitman, appeared and attempted to assassinate Robert. Bell found out that Polson was a hitman after coming into contact with ADA Sanders, the real ADA. Robert was then caught in a shootout where he realised that his nemesis, Elio Costello, was after him. Eventually, Costello and his men surrendered to the police and Robert was taken into custody for attempting to murder Pearl. (OC: "Last Christmas")
