Father Robert Torres is a priest for the Puerto Rican community of New York City. He was a witness to the preparation of Nicky Guzman murdering José Urbano, as Guzman consulted Father Torres before he went through with the shooting.
Father Torres closed ranks with the rest of the community to protect Guzman, as they accepted his motive of Urbana raping Lucy Rivers, the little sister of his girlfriend Alicia. Guzman was acquitted at the trial out of sympathy. (L&O: “The Secret Sharers”)
