Roger Quinn is the accountant of his wife Sherri Quinn’s law firm and her conspirator in being second-in-command to her imprisoned client Danny Miller’s dog fighting ring. They were the privileged communications between him and his enforcers, and all their dogs were killed and the ring cleared out when King, a pitbull under the Quinns’ watch, broke loose and went on a rampage, which killed jogger Sandy Meekin.
The Quinn’s were tried for manslaughter when they were determined to be last responsible for King, and they tried to argue King was provoke and not naturally dangerous. King himself was brought into the courts for demonstration, which made even the Quinns recoil. The judge himself encouraged a jail time plea for the couple to take. King was euthanized, which the prosecution saw as the final injustice of the ring’s crimes. (L&O: “Who Let the Dogs Out?”)
