Roland Dell is the hired killer of Pietro Grimaldi, in the interest of him stealing a catalog of crimes by his former employer Hamilton Stewart, chief executive of All-Atlantic Insurance. The records showed fraudulent policies to Holocaust victims, and Donald Burton hired Dell to get them back. Grimaldi was already shot by his son Jordan, but when Dell saw Grimaldi was still alive, Dell stabbed him to death and stole the book.
Dell took a plea to murder in exchange for testifying against Stewart and was imprisoned. (L&O: “Blood Money”)
