Ron Cephas Jones (sometimes credited as Ron C. Jones) was an actor who played three different characters on Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He appeared in Season 2 of Law & Order: Organized Crime as Congressman Leon Kilbride.
He starred as William "Shakespeare" Hill on the TV drama This is Us (with Chris Sullivan, Milo Ventimiglia, and Susan Kelechi Watson) and Bobby Fish on the MCU series Luke Cage (with Mike Colter, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Theo Rossi, and Erik LaRay Harvey).
Jones died on August 19, 2023 at the age of 66, due to a "long-standing pulmonary issue".
Jones was survived by his daughter, American stage and screen actress Jasmine Cephas Jones with his ex-wife, Kim Lesley.
