Sister Rose Halasy is a former nun and the prime suspect in the manslaughter of Keira Grayson, with the assistance of her mother Margo Grayson, who abused Keira and held her captive to stop her from her outbursts. Sister Halasy conducted her own exorcism while she herself restrained Keira, the violence ultimately leading to Keira’s death. A homeless and mentally ill man at the shelter she worked at, Bill Crawford, brought Keira to the hospital when she was hanging on her last threads of life, but she died when no one responded in the waiting area.
Halasy was found guilty at her trial and imprisoned. (L&O: “Disciple”)
