Ryann Shane is an actress who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Ashley Riggs in the episode "Father Dearest" and as Mia Morino in the episodes "In Loco Parentis" and "Promising Young Gentlemen".
She is also known for her roles on Banshee (with Frankie Faison, Lili Simmons, Matthew Rauch, Matt Servitto, and Afton Williamson), Lights Out (with Holt McCallany, Pablo Schreiber, Elizabeth Marvel and Bill Irwin), Frances Ha (with Adam Driver), and Blue Bloods.
In 2017, she starred as Deanna Lambert, a teenager whose sex tape with an older boy made her a pariah, in Story of a Girl. Sara Zarr, author of the novel on which the film was based, met with Shane and praised her performance. Shane beat out hundreds of other actresses for the part.
