The fifteenth season of the police procedural drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit premiered on NBC on September 25, 2013 and concluded on May 21, 2014. The season consists of 24 episodes. It was the last season to include Richard Belzer and Dann Florek in main cast roles. Raúl Esparza also joins the main cast in this season, after starring in a recurring role in the previous season. The season received critical acclaim, with many fans and critics calling it one of the best seasons of SVU. It is also the only season of SVU to focus primarily on one storyline, that being the William Lewis saga, with very few episodes not focusing on the saga.
