A twenty-seventh season for the police procedural drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was confirmed on May 8, 2025. It is slated to premiere in Fall 2025. On May 15th, 2025, it was announced that Kelli Giddish would return to the series as a main cast member to replace Octavio Pisano and Juliana Aidén Martinez, who departed the series in the previous season. It will air alongside Season 25 of Law & Order.
