Detective Samir Bashir was a detective with the Organized Crime Control Bureau. He was formerly an officer with the Hate Crimes Division.
History[]
After the imam was killed during a bomb, Bashir approached Stabler and offered to help him with the investigation. Bashir and Stabler then teamed up where they discovered that the imam was shot before the bomb went off. (OC: "Deliver Us From Evil")
Bashir and Stabler investigated the kidnapping of a father and the son. Bashir and Stabler then discovered that the kidnapper was responsible for the imam's death before discovering his name: Matthijs Van Der Meer. Stabler then shot Van Der Meer whilst he attempted to escape police custody. (OC: "End Of Innocence")
Bashir officially joined the task force and Bell promoted him to detective. Bashir then worked with Bell, Reyes and Jet to protect the Pescador family from the Los Santos gang. (OC: "The Last Supper")
Whilst Stabler investigated Rita Lasku's kidnapping, Bashir assisted Reyes and Jet in helping Stabler with the case. (OC: "Missing Persons")
Death[]
Stacy reported Bashir missing to the detectives who launched an investigation into Bashir's disappearance. Whilst Stabler was undercover, Tyler ordered him to get into the back of the truck with the body. Stabler then opened the body bag to reveal that it was Bashir. (OC: "Semper Fi")
Ordered by Tyler to bury the body, Stabler sadly complied, but left clues behind so investigators could find Bashir. (OC: "Crossroads")
It was revealed that Bashir was murdered by Tobias Krychek. (OC: "Goodnight")
