Sandy Delgado is a lieutenant in the American space program and the murderer of Lieutenant Jessica Hart. Hart was having an affair with married commander Luke Nelson, and Delgado became jealous due to receiving flowers and presents in Nelson's name professing a purported "love" for her. Delgado stabbed Hart to death with a diver's knife in her hotel room out of jealousy when finding out about the affair.
Delgado tried to play her motives off as Hart disgracing the program, but she was arrested regardless. It was revealed Luke's wife Edie manipulate the murder to happen once realizing the affair to her horror, having Delgado kill Hart using fake presents and flowers to "seduce" her in Nelson's name and also giving Delgado a perfume filled with steroids to make her more aggressive. Once Edie was found out and arrested, Delgado was most likely imprisoned on a lenient sentence. (CI: "Rocket Man")
