Summary[]
Stabler and Bell team up to investigate a major lead. Meanwhile, Wheatley makes moves to elevate his business.
Plot[]
At the Stabler apartment, Kathleen comes over and brings breakfast to Eli. Eli tells Kathleen about his school life, before being asked if he was really fine living with their father. Eli tells Kathleen he was not moving in with Maureen and Carl, something he already told their father. At that point Kathleen calls in Elliot asking if he really said it was okay for Eli to live with him. Elliot says he wants Eli to go with Maureen for safety. However, Eli insisted that he stays with his father because he needs him.
Meanwhile, Ayanna talks with her wife who expresses her concern about Stabler and does not wish for Ayanna to be around for his meltdown because their child needs both of them. However, Ayanna tells her wife that she can handle it and that her and their baby is her main concern, but her wife adds Richard Wheatley is also a concern.
Back at Stabler Apartment, Elliot speaks with Kathleen and speculates that Eli is staying with him because of Kathy dying and thinks that Eli doesn't want to lose him as well. Kathleen voices her concern for Elliot and his mental state, but he refuses to admit he has a problem and refuses to take any prescription drugs. He calms himself after noting his words, as Kathleen believes he does not want to take drugs because he is not bipolar like her and her grandmother. After a few more words, Kathleen starts to leave but then turns back and hugs her father telling him to get help.
