Sebastian Guzmán is the brother of Carlos Guzmán and the father of Tino Guzmán.
History[]
While Sebastian went out to work, Sebastian left Carlos in charge of Tino. However, Carlos left Tino at home by himself and Tino met up with another man who he met online named Teddy Murtaugh. Teddy kidnapped Tino and took him back to his place. Teddy raped Tino and tied him up. When Carlos found Tino missing, Sebastian came home and the police were called. After Tino was found tied to a radiator by Rollins, it was discovered that Teddy raped Tino.
After Teddy was found beaten and barely alive, Sebastian became a suspect for a short while but declared his innocence and wished he did it. Much later, Carlos confessed to the assault and was arrested. Sebastian then called a known vigilante named Elvis Baktashi to help free Carlos and get the charges dropped, since Carlos was defending his family.
When Teddy went to court, Sebastian wanted to hear him plea guilty but became angry that he didn't. He then attempted to attack him when the latter sadistically smiled and waved at him but was taken out of the courtroom, though the Judge sympathized with his rage. He also declined to have his son testify, though his worries were washed away when Carlos provided evidence of the rape and testified to get Murtaugh imprisoned.
After Carlos was revealed to have molested the son of his girlfriend, Velasco and Benson were called by Baktashi and Sebastian. The detectives found Carlos attempting to commit suicide. Carlos was talked down and arrested again but this time charged. Sebastian overheard his brother reveal to SVU that he was molested as a child by a teacher and voiced regret at not knowing or looking out for him, as his brother was so damaged and he didn't do anything. SVU told him to be there for him now because its bumpy road for his family. (SVU: "Burning With Rage Forever")
