Sharon Stone is an actress who starred as Bureau Chief Jo Marlowe in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episodes "Torch", "Ace", "Wannabe", and "Shattered".
Stone's best-known role is of seductive murderess Catherine Trammell in the 1992 film Basic Instinct (with Wayne Knight) and it's 2006 sequel, Basic Instinct 2. She earned an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Ginger McKenna in the 1995 film Casino. She also starred in the films Above the Law (with Pam Grier), Total Recall (with Ronny Cox and Rachel Ticotin) and Catwoman (with Benjamin Bratt) and had a voice role in the film Antz (with Grant Shaud). She also starred on the TV show Agent X (with Mike Colter, Jamey Sheridan, and John Shea).
Stone disliked her role on the series and has gone on to say she not only regretted playing Marlowe but also has stated that it is one of the least favorite roles she has ever played.[1]
