- This episode is the continuation of the Law & Order season fifteen episode "Tombstone". Because of this, several Law & Order cast members make an appearance in this episode. Sam Waterston makes his second guest appearance while Jesse L. Martin, S. Epatha Merkerson and Dennis Farina all make their first and only appearances on the series.
- Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actor Richard Belzer also makes a crossover appearance as Detective John Munch. Unlike "Night", the Special Victims Unit crossover, this episode was not included in the Trial by Jury DVD set.
