Detective Sloane Parrish is a Special Victims Unit detective with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office who investigated the disappearance of Tanya Garcia for over a year.
During the Manhattan Special Victims Unit's investigation into the disappearance of Maddie Flynn, they raided a motel, where they found Tanya alive inside a body bag and being drowned in the bathtub. While Tanya was being taken to the hospital, Parrish met with Manhattan SVU Captain Olivia Benson at the scene. Benson asked Parrish if they could work together on Tanya's case, which Parrish agreed to. At the precinct, Parrish and Benson questioned Tanya about her disappearance. (SVU: "Tunnel Blind")
