Background information and notes

• Carisi mentions that he went to the restaurant Body Food by Valerie as a way of trying new things. Rollins thinks its because of a woman he is seeing and asks if she is ever going to meet her. This is hinted at being the same woman he was seeing in the episode "Know It All". The next time this relationship is mentioned though is in a set of deleted scenes from the episode "Complicated".
• Near episode's end, Carisi shows Benson and Barba something incriminating he discovered against Trask and says it occurred 18 years earlier. When Barba calls the arresting officer as a rebuttal witness, he tells the defense attorney and the judge that the incident occurred 22 years earlier.
