Spencer Anderson is the "good child" in his family compared to his brother, Brent Anderson, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

History[]

Spencer framed Brent for a violent robbery that Spencer was actually responsible for. While Brent was institutionalized, Spencer grew up, married a woman named Betty (with whom he had sons and daughters) and became a successful businessman.

When Brent went on a killing spree based on his paranoid delusions over believing in a "conspiracy" against the general populace, Spencer helped get him arrested, but devised a scheme to get rich quick. Killing an optician, he sent an anonymous letter demanding a massive ransom from a colored contact lens company, under threats of killing again until the deadline is met. Major Case realized the M.O. isn't similar, so they searched Spencer's premises, discovered the gun was used by both brothers, and Spencer is arrested.

Spencer is found guilty of premeditated murder, robbery, and extortion. He is imprisoned for life without parole. Brent is institutionalized due to his mental state to get him proper treatment and he is devastated when he hears the truth about Spencer. (CI: "Gemini")
