Plot[]
When a young couple is found murdered in the back of a padlocked truck, Detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler investigate the scene and link the male victim to a dangerous Mexican drug cartel. Benson and Stabler follow a lead to an abandoned drug den where they are surprised to see FBI Special Agent Dean Porter, who is separately working on the case. Porter tries to take over the investigation, but suspicion arises and the two continue the hunt for the murderer. Following their intuition, Benson and Stabler come across shocking discoveries, which lead them to believe this case is much larger than a mere drug-related murder.

Background information and notes[]
- FBI Agent Porter was last seen in Savant, serving as the bureau's handler for Ben Nicholson.
- Greentech was probably named after episode writer Jonathan Greene.
- One of the very few times Benson and Stabler are physically affectionate towards each other after Benson is almost shot and Stabler comes to check on her.
- Stabler and Benson search the female victim's rented room without gloves on. They also pick up the burned evidence from the barrel before it was photographed and processed by the crime scene techs.
- Goof: When Warner tells Benson and Stabler that the killer cut out and took the female victim's breast implants Olivia says "how do you know he had those?". Surely she meant "she" not "he".
