Stan Bosick is a deliveryman and a suspect in the rape and murder of Lenore Bernstein.
History[]
Stan was previously imprisoned for armed robbery before being released. To get hired, he lied on is job application. He'd love to brag about his fake dalliances with women on his route, calling himself "Stan the Man". He supervised Jimmy Walp, an intellectually handicapped colleague of his with whom he was partnered. When Jimmy took a long time checking on Lenore when they were delivering for her, he went upstairs and found her dead on her bed, tied with her own stockings. Jimmy was in the bathroom, having raped her to death after she was already tied their by some hoodlums, failing to revive her with CPR or understand the consequences of his actions. Stan suspected nothing and instead called first responders, saying he tried to resuscitate Lenore and getting his name in the papers to protect Jimmy.
When the hoodlums saw someone in their uniform around the time Lenore was killed, Stan was suspected, especially when his cellmate revealed how much Stan loved to brag. Stan was taken in for questioning, and he denied everything he was accused of. He admitted he was only covering for Jimmy, and one of the hoodlums, Carlos Medina, identified Jimmy in the second lineup, not Stan in the first one. Stan was released, and Jimmy was eventually institutionalized. (SVU: "The Third Guy")
