Stephen Collins is an actor who played Pierson Bartlett in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Trade".
He is best known for his role on the TV show 7th Heaven as Reverend Eric Camden (with Adam LaVorgna). He also starred in the film Star Trek: The Motion Picture and the TV shows Working It Out (with Chevi Colton) and No Ordinary Family (with Julie Benz and Kay Panabaker).
In October 2014, leaked audio footage of Collins and his ex-wife Faye Grant in a psychologist session was released which contained Collins telling Grant and his psychologist that he had had sexual contact with underage minor. This resulted in Collins being publicly disgraced and shamed by the media, fans and the public alike, with 7th Heaven reruns immediately being pulled from the air on all channels airing the series in syndication worldwide. In a December 2014 interview with People magazine, Collins admitted he had "inappropriate sexual conduct with three female minors" in 1973, 1982, and 1994, with him stating he exposed his penis on two occasions and also placed a minor's hand on his penis while they were sitting on the couch.[1] Between October 2014 and January 2015, Collins' role in the then upcoming movie Ted 2 was cancelled and his acting career came to an end.
