Dr. Stewart Lynch is a surgeon, pedophile, and serial rapist. He was a customer of a human trafficking ring disguised as a travel agency, which sold children to wealthy pedophiles.
Background[]
Lynch was the doctor for Ernesto Diaz and Jose, two boys "adopted" by fellow pedophile Bret Jansen. He also received three foreign boys sold by Anthony Damon and sexually abused them. Despite subjecting them to rape, he alleged to have loved them as if they were his own and manipulated the boys to thinking that it was a form of love. According to Ernesto, Lynch was nice to him and Jose during visits and never land a finger on them.
Angels[]
After Jansen was found murdered, Lynch was questioned by SVU Detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson at the Metropolis Club, but he claims no knowledge of the incident and says he was in surgery, as he pointed them towards Damon. After the autopsy on Jansen's corpse, Lynch was suspected of being the culprit, as Jansen's killer was said to have medical knowledge and his profession fit the crime. As the surgeon was under investigation, Stabler told A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot that SVU already had Lynch for failing to report Jose's abuse, though Cabot's date and defense attorney Trevor Langan stated that the offense is a Class "A" misdemeanor, which could simply put Lynch on a fine and no incarceration because of no prior records. However, he was later arrested on suspicion of murdering Jansen, while also being caught by the detectives with his videotape of raping a boy on a trip, as the said videotape was immediately picked up by Lynch from the mailbox the moment it was dropped off by the mail carrier.
To avoid a potential life sentence, he told Cabot and Stabler that Damon was the one smuggling children. He also revealed that the latter was not a pedophile and simply used the kids for money and provided a list of other clients Damon had. However, he was found innocent of the murder as he had an alibi of being in Rochester doing surgery and it checked out. Because of him, various pedophiles were arrested by SVU. Afterwards, SVU discovered Dr. Walt Massey, a fellow pedophile was responsible for the murder. He was later imprisoned for kidnapping and sexually abusing the three boys, as well as raping numerous children during trips to Third World countries.
