Ted Weldon is the chair of the State Gaming Board, having numerous affairs with women, including political aide and murder victim Lisa Edwards.

Weldon was found guilty of murder and imprisoned once the killer, Weldon's fixer Mickey Bastone, agreed to testify against him. Weldon's wife is revealed to have ordered Bastone to kill Lisa and framed Weldon as revenge for his infidelity. (L&O: "Missing")
