Teddy Silas is the son of notorious crime boss Robert Silas, and the ex-husband of Pearl Serrano. He was the owner of the Majestic casino, the only casino in New York City.
History[]
Teddy meets Stabler and Bell at a fundraiser, with Teddy stating that he hates the police and is a supporter of the anti police group pro-cop. He later asks Robert why Stabler and Bell were invited and Robert responds saying he invited them, much to Teddy's surprise. Following Henry Cole's murder, Teddy calls Stabler and apologizes to him for his poor behavior at the fundraiser. He then tells him that Henry died, which shocks Stabler. Pearl later approaches Teddy and asks him if he was involved with Henry's murder. Teddy firmly tells Pearl that Henry got drunk and fell out the window to his death before saying he would never do anything that would jeopardize their marriage, but Pearl isn't so sure. Teddy later approached Pearl while she was doing yoga and expresses his disappointment that Pearl could think that Teddy could plan an arranged murder before handing her a ring. Teddy meets Vincent at a nightclub that night and warns him about treading carefully. (OC: "Everybody Knows The Dice Are Loaded")
Due to Kenny Kyle being in Teddy's nightclub before he fled from the police, the Organized Crime Control Bureau closed down the nightclub Kenny had been in. Teddy lies to Stabler and Bell about his relationship with Kenny, saying he doesn't know him. Pearl, still having trust issues with Teddy regarding Henry's murder, hires a private investigator named Ronnie to follow Teddy around and report back to her. Teddy soon finds out and Ronnie tells Teddy everything before telling Pearl that Teddy is having an affair with several women. This ultimately puts a strain on Teddy and Pearl's marriages, with both of them finding themselves unable to trust each other. (OC: "Catch Me If You Can")
After Pearl was poisoned, Teddy called Stabler to inform him before telling him to investigate. After Pearl's assailant, Luca Belucci, was discovered, Teddy violently assaulted him with a baseball bat before being arrested and imprisoned. Before Luca died from the injuries, he told the detectives that Robert had ordered him to poison Pearl. Stabler visited Teddy in prison and asked him where Robert was, but Teddy refused to give answers. (OC: "Whipping Post")
Sometime after Robert's arrest and imprisonment and Teddy's release on probation, Pearl and Teddy divorced. (OC: "Partners In Crime")
Following the kidnapping of Slootmaekers by Seamus O'Meara, Teddy became panicked after Eamon Murphy was shot at in his club and thought the latter was coming for him. As a result, he attempted to escape the police by destroying his ankle bracelet and fleeing to the airport, but Murphy intercepted him and abducted him. Murphy voiced intent to torture Teddy, but Stabler and the squad intervened, saving him in time. Teddy tried to remind them of the help he gave but was ignored and finally imprisoned. (OC: "All In The Game")
