Teri Carthage is the wife of Ted Carthage and Ted's primary business partner of My Salvation Charities, who donate to impoverished communities. Teri never knew Ted would sexually abuse women and girls receiving donations and bribe them with additional kickbacks. Ted also killed two women who were receiving donations, Monica Phelps and Gina Arroyo.
When Ted was arrested in a sting involving a girl named Katie, who was raped by Ted before being paid in the past, Teri was in disbelief. When Ted was released from little evidence, Teri was distraught, when Ted was later killed by Monica's son Nathan who witnessed Monica being raped and shot, nearly dying himself in the process.
Nathan was absolved of charges when the NRA tried to take the case to a higher court for a lawsuit, and the legal maneuver was used to get the case out of NRA hands. (SVU: "Infected")
