Background information and notes[]
- This episode appears to be based on the Rod Blagojevich scandal, in which Governor Blagojevich of Illinois attempted to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat.
- This episode also seems to take some cues from the Max Mosley scandal, in which the president of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile was videotaped in an S&M session with a number of prostitutes.
