- This episode marks the first appearance of Molly Burnett as Detective Grace Muncy.
- This is the first case Rollins works after being shot in the Law & Order episode "Gimme Shelter". It is said that six weeks have passed since the events of that episode. Benson and Rollins discuss the experience further later in the episode.
- Benson recounts to Rollins when she had been shot before, which happened in the Season 14 episode "Poisoned Motive" where Rollins was shot in the shoulder.
