Quotes[]
McCoy: Do you think Ira Walderman (the victim) felt he was part of the team?
Witness: Oh, definitely. He'd like to say that he was "the sixth man."
Borgia: Did you see this morning's headlines?
McCoy: "Inwood Out Of Luck."
Borgia: I was referring to the other one - "Inwood Selling Out." His jersey became the number one sports memorabilia item... overnight. [Arthur Branch just shakes his head.]
Background information and notes[]
- The episode title refers to how witnesses describe the victim referring to himself as "the sixth man" as if he was part of the team. He would aggressively harass the opposing team, in the hopes of securing a win for his own team.
- The title is also similar to that of the film noir The Third Man.
