Summary[]

The Wheatley family celebrates an important day, and Benson goes to a Stabler family gathering. Meanwhile, Bell determines whether a death was actually accidental, and Jet get her hands dirty.

Plot[]

Elliot returns to his apartment where he finds his kids and Benson all waiting for him. He questions on what is going on before Kathleen reveals that it is an intervention for him. Elliot states he does not have a problem. He is upset when Benson brings up the previous conversation until Kathleen says that she was the one who brought Benson in. Eli states they do not think of him as an addict but Dickie states Elliot just needs help for his issues.

  • The title of this episode is a quote from the film The Maltese Falcon.
  • Actor Peter Scanavino makes a crossover appearance in this episode as his Law & Order: Special Victims Unit character Assistant district attorney Dominick Carisi, Jr., making him the second main cast member of SVU (after Olivia Benson) to appear on Organized Crime.
    • With this appearance in this episode, Scanavino has appeared in all of the Law & Order named New York City based shows in the Law & Order franchise, though his appearances on other shows outside of SVU were as different characters.
