Thelma Price is the temporary foster mother of Nina Tremain, who went missing under Price's care.

History[]

Price always found Nina hyperactive and an unruly nuisance, barely watching over her and always berating Nina for displeasing Price. Price was relieved when a man claiming to be a social worker removed Nina from the house, never seen again since.

The man wasn't a social worker at all and already raped and killed another girl, Susie Marshall. Nina's kidnapping was found out when her mother, Violet, arrived at Susie's vigil when she was still unidentified, dreading she was Nina. It was revealed while Violet was in rehab, Nina was in the care of her elderly neighbor. When the woman died, the building super threw Nina into the system, where she was received by Price.

All the women who last saw the two children, including Susie's mother Ronnie, were brought together to recall the missing details they were looking for. A composite sketch was put together, and they all realized they and the girls went to the same community center. A worker, Terry Jessup, was revealed to be the perpetrator, and when it was revealed, Nina was still alive, Violet convinced Jessup to have mercy and tell the detectives where she was to rescue her.
