Anthony "Tony" Shaeffer is a wrongfully convicted man who spent years in prison for the murder of club bouncer Vincent Johnson.
In spite of the opposition of the Bronx D.A.'s office to reevaluate his case, the Manhattan D.A. privately filed a habeas corpus petition to overturn Tony's conviction, successfully resulting in his release. (L&O: "Bronx Cheer")
