Tori Lasky is the rehabilitating mother of murdered foster boy John Lasky. John's father, her ex-boyfriend Zack Mohr beat Tori and John before throwing them out of the house and getting a new girlfriend, Delia. Tori placed Johnny into foster care and went into rehab in hopes of getting her son back.
Tori was heartbroken to hear Johnny was found killed in a red light district with male prostitutes. It was revealed Johnny was stealing from Zach with his foster brothers, hoping to pawn his goods for money so he could have his own place with Tory to be a family with her again. When one of his brothers, Chris Pollit, spent the money on accessories, and then got mad when the next heist was a bust, he killed Johnny by beating and kicking him to death in a rage.
