Trey Franklin was a teenage student and one of several underage sexual partners of Nicole Keller.

History[]

He hailed from a good home and had an exceptional school record.

He was seduced by Nicole Keller, the mother of his best friend Luke Keller, and they pursued a sexual relationship with him keeping pictures of their encounters. At some point, his friend Ethan Miller discovered their relationship and in a jealous rage they fought.

One night while having sex, Luke returned home and heard a noise, arming himself with a gun when he reached the kitchen. Nicole screamed he was raping her to hide her pedophilia and Luke shot Trey, killing him. Horrified by what he had done, Luke called the police, who investigated the situation. Because Trey was black and Nicole was white, racial profiling was a major concern in the investigation. This infuriated Trey's parents, who wanted justice for their son.

When the truth about Nicole's relationship with Trey surfaced, she was arrested and taken to trial, convicted, and sentenced to life in prison. This brought closure to his parents while a guilt-ridden Luke was given immunity for testifying. (SVU: "Motherly Love")
