Hello, I'm a big fan of all the Law and Orders produced in the USA and my favorite is SVU, followed by the original, Criminal Intent, Trial by Jury and Los Angeles.

WARNING This page contains major spoilers for those not overly familiar with the Law & Order franchise so it is advised you avoid this page.

This are potential ideas for additional categories/pages primarily based on L&O characters but I haven't figured out how to configure everything yet.

The Murder/Rape Facilitators

For the purpose of this argument, I will be focusing specifically on the murder facilitators for the moment to make my case since there are more of them I can find

This is an expansion of Facilitators I propose but is still in development at this time. One reason is there are several criminals who are classified as proxy murderers when I personally feel that description is not accurate. While murder does not always require intent when the person personally commits the killing, it is different with proxy murder. This is someone who never intended for the death of another but committed acts legal or illegal that aided or caused a killer's actions. One reason I feel this is warranted is because certain pages already have this definition in their pathology and I feel creating a category is the next step. It has been pointed out, by myself and several other users, that proxy murder does not fit their crimes.

  • The one thing I would like to stress is that this expansion would have one primary thing in common, they did not form the intent to kill someone, or in the alternative, for someone to get seriously hurt.
  • Under New York law crimes that fit this description is any homicide charge lower than man one, criminal facilitation and reckless endangerment.
  • Specifically, they can hope someone gets seriously hurt from their actions, but they never intended for someone to be killed.
  • Another definition is they can commit an illegal act that results in the death of another without their knowledge.
  • Another example is when someone is hired to perform a kidnapping and the kidnap victim is killed accidentally (though this definition is iffy because they were hired to commit serious harm and someone died).
  • Another example is when someone is hired to rob and bank, and a law enforcement officer or security guard kills either a citizen or the robber. Its felony murder, but the mastermind is not directly responsible even though he is responsible for instigating the underlying crime and can be held responsible under the law.
