Hi! Welcome to the Law & Order wiki, Randomgamer111!

I've noticed that you've already made some contributions to the wiki – thanks for your edit to the Carolyn Tyler page! We all hope that you'll enjoy our activities here and decide to join our community.

If you are new to Wikia or wikis in general, please visit the Help pages for an outline of some of the main parts of the site and links to pages that tell you how to edit.

Discussion of any aspect of the site, and inquiries, can be made at the Community Portal or on the Talk page associated with each article. Please sign and date your contributions there, so that readers know "who to talk to" and whether your message is probably still of current interest.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! Season Fourteen (talk) 16:23, August 13, 2019 (UTC)

Spaces in talk pages

Hey! Please don't insert empty spaces between section headers and subsection headers without adding any substantial information in those spaces, like you did here. That is what we would call a pointless edit, and you could be blocked if this is going to be a trend for you. Thank you. Season Fourteen (talk) 19:09, April 3, 2020 (UTC)

In relation, please don't tinker around with your welcome message. I don't know why you did that, but if there's a problem with it that affects how it's presented, let me know. Otherwise, it's just useless edits, which are absolutely not allowed. Thank you. Season Fourteen (talk) 07:25, April 9, 2020 (UTC)

Signing talk pages

Hey! Please don't forget to sign your talk page posts. I know you already know how to do that, but this time, you didn't on my talk page. This is something we mustn't forget. Thank you. Season Fourteen (talk) 23:08, April 3, 2020 (UTC)

Creating character articles

When you create an article on a character, please use other character articles to figure out how they're supposed to look like. And please brush up on your English. The overall quality leaves much to be desired. Season Fourteen (talk) 04:14, April 7, 2020 (UTC)

Sorry, what have I done wrong in particular? I want to learn from my mistakes. Randomgamer111 (talk) 11:05, April 7, 2020 (UTC)
First and foremost, you didn't include a DEFAULTSORT tag. It's needed to organize character articles for categories. Second of all, you're formatting the infoboxes wrong. Once again, use other character articles as templates. Season Fourteen (talk) 22:27, April 7, 2020 (UTC)
How do I add in the DEFAULTSORT tag? Randomgamer111 (talk) 04:03, April 8, 2020 (UTC)
You type it in at the bottom of the article. Like I said earlier, LOOK AT OTHER CHARACTER ARTICLES. How they're written and formatted will tell you what to do. Season Fourteen (talk) 06:50, April 8, 2020 (UTC)
It's really difficult for me to explain it any further, which is why I urge you to pay attention to the edits I put into your articles after the fact. Season Fourteen (talk) 21:41, April 8, 2020 (UTC)
Something of note: DEFAULTSORT tags are only applicable for character articles with a known first and last name. So therefore, it was acceptable when you didn't add such a tag for the Mr. Buggesi article. But you need to remember they're needed for many other articles, though, as long as the first and last names are known. Season Fourteen (talk) 02:42, April 9, 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, for some reason I didn't notice the way of adding a DEFAULTSORT tag as you said. I will be doing that now and I didn't know unnamed characters were an acception, why is this? Randomgamer111 (talk) 05:11, April 9, 2020 (UTC)
I honestly don't know. It's just something I observed from my years on Wikias. Season Fourteen (talk) 07:25, April 9, 2020 (UTC)
