Veronica Cartwright is an actress who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "Starved" as Virginia Kennison.
Cartwright starred as Lambert in the horror film Alien (with Tom Skerritt and Yaphet Kotto) and the 1978 film version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (with Jeff Goldblum and Brooke Adams). In the 1990s, she received three Emmy nominations as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her roles on the television series ER and The X-Files.
