Veronica Nash is a nanny and friend of Sarah Rendell, the nanny of murder victim Lucy Pritchard.
History[]
Veronica always found Lucy unruly and deserving of punishing. When Veronica saw Lucy at the children's museum, she slapped Lucy hard because she felt she "deserved" it for her "horrible" misbehavior. Lucy was later found unconscious at the playground from severe physical trauma and rushed to the hospital.
Going between suspects, Veronica accused Sarah of being the one to hit Lucy since she spanked Lucy a couple months ago. Staff at the museum, however, said Veronica hit Lucy. She lost it and yelled her confession when was confronted, but her hand measurements didn't match the bruises on Lucy from shaken baby syndrome, the assault that killed her. It's unknown what happened to Veronica because of her abuse. (SVU: "Shaken")
