Father Victor Akintola is a priest who acted as the hitman for the St. Fabiola's Sex Trafficking Ring.
Background[]
Not much is known of early life, though Akintola was brought into the sex ring by his colleague Patrick Mulregan and served as the enforcer/hitman. He was tasked with disposing any of the girls who step out of line or anyone who came close to exposing the ring and made sure they were dealt with in a manner that wouldn't link back. Akintola would also treat himself to brutalizing some of the girls for his own sexual pleasure.
On SVU[]
When Cara Gutierrez, a victim of the ring, was revealed to be cooperating with the cops, Akintola was sent to kill her. Akintola injected Gutierrez with a fatal amount of heroin and she overdose. When interviewed by Manhattan Special Victims Unit, Akintola covers his tracks by lying to the detectives and said she relapsed and willingly injected the drugs into her system. Akintola was ordered by Mulregan to kidnap, rape, and murder a nun named Nina Kelly who was trying to expose the ring and save the victims. Akintola pursued Nina on the road while she was trying to escape with a victim, but he ran her off the road. Akintola then raped and murdered Nina, though he was unaware that he was spotted by the victim Natalie Diaz. Later, Mulregan tried to get Akintola out of the country and had one of his nuns gives him a ticket and alias. However, SVU discovered the link between Akintola and the ring, contacting the airport to have Akintola detained until their arrival. Akintola tried to masquerade as a Nigerian national priest under a different name, but he was not believed. A disgusted Detective Carisi, who is a devoted Catholic, personally told him that he was unfit to bear the title of priest, before Rollins announced he was coming with them. He is then cuffed and taken away. Akintola was later imprisoned for life, along with him conspirators. (SVU: "Unholiest Alliance")
