Vivica A. Fox (born July 30, 1964 in South Bend, Indiana) is an American actress who played Kate Tenny in the Law & Order Season 19 episode "Sweetie".

Fox's career dates back almost four decades. She played Jasmine Dubrow in the 1996 alien invasion film Independence Day (featuring Adam Baldwin, Harry Connick, Jr., Jeff Goldblum, Judd Hirsch, Margaret Colin, Bill Pullman, Brent Spiner, James Rebhorn, and Mae Whitman) and its sequel, Independence Day: Resurgence. She was also Vernita Green a.k.a. Copperhead in Kill Bill, Vol. 1 and Kill Bill, Vol. 1 (with Lucy Liu and Clark Middleton), Ms. B. Haven in Batman and Robin (with John Glover), and Lucinda in Ella Enchanted (with Hugh Dancy and Cary Elwes).

Fox starred in the romantic comedy Two Can Play That Game (featuring Anthony Anderson) and its sequel Three Can Play That Game, the heist film Set It Off (featuring Blair Underwood and Thomas Jefferson Byrd), the musical biopic Why Do Fools Fall in Love, and Sharknado 2 and The Last Sharknado (the Last with Masiela Lusha and both with Mark McGrath). She also competed on the third season of Dancing with the Stars (with Harry Hamlin) and the The Celebrity Apprentice 7 (with Gilbert Gottfried).

From 2016 onwards, Fox has been the main actress to star on the Lifetime Channel movie franchise The Wrong as different characters, starring in such movies in the series as The Wrong Child, The Wrong Man, The Wrong Cruise, The Wrong Teacher, The Wrong Cheerleader, and The Wrong Cheer Captain. She later starred on the TV show Empire (with Terrence Howard and Nicole Ari Parker).
