Attorney Walter Camp is a defense counsel and a familiar face to A.D.A. Casey Novak.

History[]

Camp knew killer Adam Halder from poker tournaments and took his case pro bono, arguing his crimes were out of gambling addiction. Witnesses were brought in to testify to Adam's demeanor because of his gambling habits with the woman he killed, Caroline Pereira, to get away from their impoverished beginnings.

In the end, his girlfriend and Caroline's roommate Gloria Kulhane sold Adam out on the stand, saying the murder was all his idea. He was convicted of murder two and imprisoned, with Gloria snidely denying responsibility when Adam was devastated she turned on him. Gloria was arrested when walking out of the courtroom, as she ordered Caroline's murder to have Adam keep paying her with his winnings. The detectives arrested her for stealing a ring Caroline won, which she was wearing when Adam strangled her. (SVU: "Class")
