Mrs. Weldon is the wife of Ted Weldon, a state politician known for numerous affairs. Mrs. Weldon paid for the family fixer, Mickey Bastone, to murder one mistress, political aide Lisa Edwards, and then falsely accuse Weldon to frame him.
It worked, as Bastone and Weldon were imprisoned. When Mrs. Weldon's handwriting was confirmed to have been in the bank slip used to pay Bastone, she confesses and brags the DA's office won't risk embarrassment by overturning the conviction, and that Weldon will wait years before he can appeal.
Mrs. Weldon's legal status is left unknown. (L&O: "Missing")
