Wendy Makkena (born Wendy Rosenberg Makkena on October 4, 1958 in Manhattan, New York) is an actress who played three different characters on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order.
She made her film debut appearing in Eight Men Out.
She has starred on TV shows such as Judging Amy, Oliver Beene, Chuck (with Adam Baldwin and C.S. Lee), The Mob Doctor (with Jordana Spiro, Zach Gilford, Zeljko Ivanek, and Jesse Lee Soffer), and NCIS.
Makkena had a supporting role opposite Whoopi Goldberg in the musical comedy film Sister Act as the shy but talented singing nun Sister Mary Robert, a role she reprised in Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit the following year (which was directed by Bill Duke). In both films, singer Andrea Robinson provided the actual vocals. She will reprise the role in Sister Act 3.
