Wendy Weiss is a defense attorney known for representing clients challenging moral and legal boundaries.

History[]

Weiss represented Tim Schwimmer when he was responsible for representing serial killer Mark Bruner, even to the point of withholding where more people Bruner were killed were buried, even after Schwimmer personally visited the site where they were left. (L&O: "Bodies")

Weiss also represented Bruce Elwin a murderer who became a born-again Christian and wanted leniency, not long after he gun used in the murder was found in a house arson. (L&O: "In God We Trust")

When Weiss represented reality series director Ellie Harper for facilitating a murder for ratings, Weiss had to cut her client off when she could've said too much and insisted the murderer, Hannah Welch, was most responsible. She continuously objected to insinuation at the trial, but she couldn't find a rebuttal to how Welch was the only civilian who expressed homicidal urges. Harper was found guilty and imprisoned in the end. (L&O: "Public Service Homicide")
