Wesley "Wes" Banyon was a screenwriter who came into contact with Bernard Fremont, a career criminal guised as a party planner. In his hungry narcissism, Fremont commissioned Banyon to write a screenplay, glorifying him as a "hero" to exaggerate his life of cheating and killing his way around the world. Banyon's script however was not written to Fremont's tastes, with smearing text too graphic for Fremont and crushing his chances of immortal fame.

Fremont retaliated by killing Banyon in a fit of rage by bashing his head in. Already running a robbery ring, Fremont had his subordinates decapitate Banyon and throw his headless corpse into the river, in the same time span of stripping his apartment after Fremont used it for another party he threw. When accomplice Marcel Costas left Banyon's head in the fridge for investigators to discover, Fremont had Mala Marsden strangle him. The script was used to infuriate a confession out of Fremont, and although Fremount made bail, he was murdered by previous disciple Nicole Wallace shortly after. (CI: "Slither")
